Producer Vince Zampella:
"The gameplay in D-day is very chaotic, we wanted to capture a little of the overwhelming feeling of what it must have been like. Other areas of the game represent different types of gameplay."
Assistant Producer Steve Townshend:
"In addition to the Invasion levels, the environments vary from the baked desert of North Africa to the frozen tundra of Norway, to the bombed-out villages of France, where whole sides of buildings have been blown apart by artillery -- you can see individual
rooms, complete with their own wallpaper, furniture, and personal effects. It's really a wonderful amount of detail. Adding to that you have trees and bushes that sway gently in the breeze, and real-life weather like rain, thunder, and lighting, and even
snow flurries that make you feel like in you're fighting it out in the real world."
Composer Michael Giacchino:
"An orchestra of musicians drawn from the Seattle Symphony was assembled at the Bastyr Chapel, a church just outside Seattle, to record Giacchino's original score for "Medal of Honor." The Seattle Symphony was selected because of the impressive talent
pool it draws from in the Pacific Northwest. Gianchinno put together a 64 piece orchestra to record his score for "Medal of Honor." The music composed for "Medal of Honor" was Gianchinno's most ambitious undertaking to date."
